| Screen Printing |
Silk screen printing is used as a standard in the industry today to print optical media (CDs, DVDs, other), and is applied by printing UV (ultraviolet) ink that is sensitive to ultraviolet light, which dry in seconds. The silkscreen machine has a large footprint meters 4x4 and requires a large power source and compressed air (6 bars). The machines we use have 5 colors and the first applied is the white base then the CMYK or any other pantone color requested.
Why use Silk Screen Printing :

- To print solid colours;
- For CMYK images (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black);
- To make negative print so the silver shows throught;
- To put the printable coating on the discs to be used in inkjet and thermal printers;
- To laquer the discs after printing to give it a glossy or matt finish;

| Digital offset |
Commercial name of fantasy that is widely used to fool users; question of desktop machines to high-resolution printing through a thermal transfer tape wax largely composed of 3 colors. The cost of printing cadaun piece is very high though is suitable for small runs up to 50 pieces; beyond that number becomes uneconomical.
This machine requires to operate cd or dvd previously pre-serigrafati for which the cost becomes almost double the purchase of raw materials for the silkscreen on initial support and the cost of tape wax, in addition to the profit margin added.
With this technique can not be done or pantone colors, or colors not, nor drawn to the colors, nor the glossy mixed-opaque, or the colors gold and silver, nor printable. This technique is suitable for color prints compounds. |
| Inkjet |
This technique is used by desktop machines, which are nothing more than inkjet printers (Canon, HP, Epson, etc.) and have adapted or less of small robot of automatic loading of cd-dvd on tray argues that the printer inkjet.
Again they use optical screenprinted with ink that absorbs ink inkjet and that generally are based matt white or silver. | Thermal |
This technique is the same as the "digital offset" but uses machines penultimate generation. Goods and limits are the same. |
| Pad Printing |
